Arthur Brett Architectural
Interiors by England's finest cabinet makers
Arthur Brett Architectural undertakes fine custom-made architectural
detailing and panelling for architects, interior designers and
private clients around the world. Designs may be classic, drawing from
the company’s large archive of English interior details, or inventively
and strikingly contemporary, according to the needs of each project.
Whatever the style, each interior is designed and executed to the
highest standards of craftsmanship throughout.
Arthur Brett Architectural uses a wide range of woods in its panelling,
such as mahogany, walnut, antique pine or oak, while for
contemporary projects, special paint or lacquer finishes may be used.
Fine period details such as skilful hand carving, decorative painting
or water-gilding are all features which may be incorporated in clients’
designs.
Traditional French polishing and careful distressing reproduce
the wonderful faded and aged patina of original panelling. With today’s
technology in mind, modern entertainment systems such as plasma TV screens
and sound systems, or office equipment can be incorporated easily into a
design for panelling, with no resulting compromise of classical appearance.
All Arthur Brett Architectural interiors are hand-fitted and installed,
wherever in the world they are required, by the same team of craftsmen
cabinetmakers who make them. Prior to installation, each project is
assembled completely in the workshops to ensure that installation on
site proceeds smoothly.
