Walnut bureau cabinet of early 18^th century style. This is one of the finest pieces of furniture ever made by Arthur Brett. It represents the traditional exellence achieved by the company, with beauty and authenticity of design, superb cabinet making and a lustrous warm antique finish perfected over many years. One of these cabinets was awarded the Guild Mark of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers, the first piece of reproduction furntiure to be so honoured.
