Crown Commissioners' table
The grandeur of the setting in the Crown Commissioners' beautifully restored building
demanded a very special table from Arthur Brett.
To meet the brief, the legs had to be detachable, yet absolutely rigid when in place. A further unusual feature is the additional pair of leaves
which can be inserted at each end to create a well in the centre of the table when it is fully extended. Some 460 skilled man-hours went into
the manufacture of this superb table.
