Superb walnut partner's desk in 18^th century style. The drawers are crossbanded and inlaid with herringbone and the bottom right-hand drawer is made as a deep file drawer on metal runners. The top is lined in finest quality leather, antiqued and gilt-tooled. There is a leather-lined dictation slide fitted to the reverse side. Also fitted to the reverse side of the desk are two cupboard doors in highly figured walnut below the top drawers. Leathered writing tablets are also supplied in the top drawers each side at the front. Special handmade brassware completes one of the finest quality reproduction desks available today.
