Exquisite oval inlaid tray on stand in Sheraton style. The tray is of a most intricate design, featuring a central oval panel of rare thuya wood surrounded by a fan of twenty-eight radials in fruitwood, each shaded on one edge using the same process used over 150 years ago. With additional inlays of satinwood, rosewood and other exotic woods, the tray also has a shaped gallery and is fitted with brass lifting handles, copied from the original. The tray rests on a beautifully matching inlaid oval satinwood table.
